Benefits of Organic Gardening

Now they know how dangerous these chemicals that are sprayed on plants. Lots of chemicals have been banned because it’s been shown to cause cancer! But a number of these dangerous chemicals have not been banned, & there may be lots of hidden dangers that have not yet been discovered. 

Crowds of people are turning to organic products as a way to feel more confident about the food they eat. People are worried about the food they take their bodies with all the reports of food poisoning from fruit & vegetables, lots of people are worried about what they eat.  In a private organic garden, you can obviously feel safer about the foods you eat. You know the food you give to your relatives is safer & healthier than the bad things are in the grocery store. 

Having an organic garden is also very useful for several reasons. First, when you spray crops with chemicals, those chemicals wash your plants & soil. From there, those chemicals wash in to the ground, groundwater.  Chemicals also kill lots of species of insects, so you can also cause an imbalance in the local wildlife.

When you or your neighbors kill much of the population of insects, then anything that depends on those insects for food might also start to die.  When insects eat poisonous plants then they themselves can be eaten by birds or other animals. These animals can get sick and die. If the toxicity was high, the animals that feed on these animals also die. This can have a powerful impact on the environment. 

For example, organic carrots are widely known to be much sweeter than conventionally grown carrots. They don’t have the same bitterness that other carrots can have. This is a great reason to cultivate organic products, even in case you’re concerned about the effect chemicals in the body & the environment.

  Then, something that depends on another type of food may start to die. This might spin out of control if the issue were too broad. This is unlikely but not impossible. Organic products are also known for its excellent taste.

  You must spray the plants with solutions for things like chile & garlic to prevent some bugs to eat. It can be difficult. 

Of course there is a natural fertilizer that can help you use your kitchen waste! The advantages of organic gardening far outweigh the drawbacks. The rewards justify the extra work.

  Lastly, organic fertilizers can actually be cheaper because you can do it yourself. Fish emulsion is a common organic fertilizer. It is a type of tea made from dead fish.  Seaweed fertilizer is another tea-based fertilizer that lots of organic gardeners use.
