I travel a lot, and sometimes I forget to bring my silk hair wrap. If I have a satin pillowcase, will my hair be safe?

yea, that’s fine. never ever sleep on a towel, like someone else said. the whole purpose is to provide a surface for your hair that won’t pull or stress it. just don’t sleep on cotton or anything like that, and you should be fine.
